More TCM concerts and exhibits!
We have two exciting announcements for you ...
at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center you rocked, swayed, danced, top-tapped and just plain 'ole boogie-downed at one of our family concerts. Now you can do the same at another venue - Mayfest!
And ... TCM unveils Go Figure! at the downtown library.
Read on to find out more about both of these exciting events!

2010 TCM Family Concerts
KidZone will be bigger than ever this year. Tulsa Children's Museum and the Tulsa City County Library joined together to bring you more family fun.
Join us Saturday, May 15th for this incredible line-up.
Krista "Funky Mama" Eyler is not your ordinary soccer mom. After having two boys, this former tv news reporter has embraced motherhood by becoming an electric guitar playing, soulful singer and songwriter.
Her influences range from Broadway show tunes, Bonnie Raitt, Elvis and Motown, and her versatile, power-packed voice runs three octaves and has wowed thousands.
Lunch Money, named in honor of your first taste of childhood independence, rocks its own indie sound in the kid music genre.
This trio from South Carolina has a friendly folksy sound and promises to deliver a high-energy show that aims to get children and their parents dancing, thinking and laughing.
The duo Buffalofitz is a vibrant acoustic band from Oklahoma City. The group features Fitz Jennings and Buffalo Rogers, two very different men with a shared love of entertaining, rooted music and storytelling. Their music is an ever-evolving mixture of traditional blues, ballads and gospel songs.
Tulsa band, Duo Sonics interpret classic blues in anexciting, high-energy show. In fact, band member David Berntson's passion for blues has led him to receive a award for keeping the blues alive in education.
Whether playing a slow blues, dripping with amplified harp and slide guitar, or a full-blown boogie-woogie or jump blues number, this duo can really sing and swing.
And finally, another Tulsa favorite, The Prairie Dawgs will bring bluegrass and contemporary folk to the KidZone stage.
All shows are FREE and at the KidZone stage.
Please help make our concerts a success!

New TCM Exhibit!
Go Figure!
Head on to the downtown public library and check us out. Beginning May 10th through mid August, TCM's latest exhibit, Go Figure! will be on display.
Go Figure! will teach math concepts and promote literacy by bringing to life five popular children's books. Inside each large-scale book, visitors find an attached copy of the featured book, a math based interactive relating to the book's narrative, and tips for parents on supporting their child's early explorations of math concepts.
Inside Go Figure! visitors discover, play and talk about problem solving, numbers, shapes and patterns, attributes of objects, and size and measurement.
At the exhibit, children will explore the books: Arthur's Pet Business by Marc Brown, The Doorbell Rang by Pat Hutchins, The Quilt by Ann Jonas, Frog and Toad are Friends: A Lost Button by Arnold Lobel, and Goldilocks and the Three Bears by James Marshall.
The exhibit will continue at Tulsa City-County's Central Library from Saturday, May 15th through mid August. Hours are Monday-Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday 1 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
