Be a Volunteer
It takes a lot of work to bring a community based children’s museum to our town. We are all donating our time and we need lots of helping hands.
Our organization is set up by committees and we are looking for volunteers in many different areas. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact our volunteer coordinator Victoria Vargas-Huston at victoria@tulsachildrensmuseum.org. Our Committees
Traveling Exhibits – About once a month we take an exhibit or two on the road to different events and festivals. If you love to play with kids – volunteering to work an event is a great way to have fun, meet new friends and be part of this growing organization.
If you are interested in becoming more involved with traveling exhibits, you can sign up to joining bi-monthly meetings to help develop new exhibits. You can contact the exhibits chair at exhibits@tulsachildrensmuseum.org
Concert Series – Our Family Concert Series takes place three times a year at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. We are looking for volunteers for the day of the concert to help set up, sell t-shirts and greet guests.
If would like to take part in choosing the musicians that come to Tulsa and have time to commit to quarterly meetings, you can join the concerts committee by emailing the concerts chair at concerts@tulsachildrensmuseum.org
Fundraising – We need help to raise money for the Tulsa Children’s Museum. If you are interested in helping with fundraising and writing grants, please contact our fundraising chair at fundraising@tulsachildrensmuseum.org
Public Relations – We need to make sure people know about us and we need your help to do that. If you have a background in writing press releases and articles, graphic design, marketing and public relations, please contact our public relations chair at pr@tulsachildrensmuseum.org
